Builders Clean

Difference between builders clean and after builders clean

A builders clean is carried out while a construction project or building development is underway. It is ongoing and will require certain health and safety regulation to be met including the cleaning operatives having a CSCS card. More on this below.

After builders cleaning, as the name suggests, is when the building work is completed and the development requires a final clean before handover. Most of the heavy cleaning will have been carried out and this is more of a sparkle clean so the builders cleaning price will be lower.

What does builders cleaning include?

Builders cleaning prices?

How much you pay for your builders cleaning will vary depending on how the company charges. Most reputable companies will ask to come out and carry out an inspection of the building site. This enables them to get a good look at the size of the project including how many appliances and windows require cleaning.

Carpet Cleaning Service

1. HIGH-FILTRATION VACUUM. First we vacuum with a high filtration cleaning system specifically designed for deep down soil removal.

2. MOVE LARGE FURNISHINGS. We will move larger furnishings – such as chairs and tables – but for insurance reasons we ask you to move smaller valuable items such as ornaments before we arrive.

3. PRE-SPOT DIFFICULT STAINS. We will pre-spot your carpet for all difficult stains. We will carry out specialist stain removal techniques on stains, which are of particular concern to you.

4. ECO-FRIENDLY PRE-SPRAY. Next we will apply an Eco-Friendly pre-spray specially designed to electro-mechanically lift oily dirt and pollutants from your carpet fibres and suspend them floating in an aqueous solution ready to be quickly and safely extracted using our state-of-the-art extraction machines.

5. HOT WATER EXTRACTION MACHINE. We use a high-pressure hot water extraction unit which runs on Electric … this means we cleans much better because it heats water to a high temperature and then shoots the cleaning solution into the carpet at high pressure. This helps to break up the dirt, bacteria and pollens in the carpet. The machine then produces a huge vacuum volume to draw the dirt and chemicals out of your carpet.

6. RESIDUE RINSE. We use the extraction machine to ensure a residue free rinse that ensures the integrity of your carpet and helps to retard re-soiling

7. PROTECTIVE FOIL TABS. Furniture is replaced back onto the carpet with protective foil tabs and Styrofoam blocks under the legs. Why? Well sometimes the moisture left in the carpet will leach out any colour-stain finish from the furniture leaving a (very difficult to remove) carpet stain.

8. GROOMING. Where, appropriate we will groom your carpet to leave it in best possible condition. This usually means we run a grooming rake over the carpet to ensure the fibres are tangle-free and ‘fluffy’ as possible.

9. RAPID-DRY™. Finally, we’ll use special carpet dryers to rapidly dry your carpets so you use them much quicker than normal.
